“We're still playing banged up right now so I'm proud of today's performance,” head coach Cathy Hummel said. “We were able to push through the adversity of injuries and earn a much needed road victory.”

After notching the first two set wins by Canisius, Quinnipiac avoided the sweep with a third set win to prolong the match. In the fourth frame the Griffs opened the match on a 15-9 run to help stake claim to a lead midway through the set.
