The Canisius College swimming and diving team completed day one of the University of Rochester Invitational on Friday night.

Quarantillo was followed closely by freshman Adam Bonk who would have also set a school record with a score of 290.15. The Canisius pair handily took the event with Bonk holding a 51-point advantage on the third place finisher.

The Canisius women competed in the 3-meter dive on Friday, with sophomore Taylor Epstein placing third with a score of 236.35.

The event was one of three relays that the Canisius women took the top-spot in Friday night. The Griffs also finished first in the 200-yard freestyle relay, when senior Kelli Graber, Battaglia, sophomore Alex Doody and Graesser touched the wall in 1:38.62.
