Swimming and Diving Announce 2026-27 Schedule

The Canisius men's and women's swimming and diving teams officially released their 2026-27 schedule, head coach Scott Vanderzell announced today.

The team will get its season underway on Oct. 17 in Rochester, N.Y., taking on Rochester and Metro foe Siena before heading to Geneseo, N.Y., the following weekend to take on Geneseo on Oct. 24.

The teams will close out October by hosting their first of four home meets, with Binghamton at Erie Community College's Burt Flickinger Center on Oct. 31.

The Griffs will open up November with a home meet hosting St. Bonaventure on Nov. 7 before heading just up the road to take part in the UB Invite on Nov. 20-21.

After the holiday break, the Golden Griffins return home Jan. 13 to host Le Moyne before closing out their home slate by hosting Battle of the Bridge rival Niagara on Jan. 16 at the Burt Flickinger Center.

The Golden Griffins regular season will come to a close on Jan. 30 traveling to Lawrenceville, N.J. to take on Rider.

The 2027 Metro Championships will be held Feb. 17-20 at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio. Last season, the men's team placed seventh, while the women's team finished tied for seventh.
