Rowing Rounds Out Spring Slate at Duquesne Invitational

The Canisius rowing program is set to take part in their final regatta prior to the conference championship at the Duquesne Invitational in Pittsburgh, Pa. on Saturday.

The regatta marks the fourth consecutive week of racing for the Golden Griffins and caps off a five-event spring season. Saturday's regatta will be Canisius' program debut in the Duquesne Invitational.

Canisius comes off a busy weekend of racing, battling Marist in a head-to-head duel race last Saturday before hosting the 15th annual Black Rock Cup with a field consisting of Robert Morris, Mercyhurst and Marist.

Marist bested Canisius in all three races in Saturday's contest but the Blue and Gold were able to rebound the following day, grabbing three wins in the four-team field.

Canisius begins postseason action at the 2026 MAAC Rowing Championship on Sunday, May 17th. The regatta is scheduled for an 8:45 a.m. start at Cooper River Park in Pennsauken, N.J.
