Acrobatics and Tumbling Drops Season Finale Against Gannon

The Canisius acrobatics and tumbling program fell to No. 7 Gannon, 261.565–225.650, Thursday evening at the Koessler Athletic Center in Buffalo, N.Y.

The Golden Griffins finished their inaugural season with a 4-3 mark. The Golden Knights, meanwhile, improved to 5-3 with the win.

Gannon held a 95.30–88.35 advantage at the break before extending its lead in the second half with a 166.265–137.300 margin.
Canisius opened the meet with a 34.35 score in the Compulsory event. The Griffs posted a 9.450 in the Pyramid heat and a 9.200 in the Toss heat to highlight the opening rotation.

In the Acro event, Canisius recorded a total score of 26.00. The team's highest mark came in the five-element heat with an 8.800.

The Griffs followed with a 28.00 in the Pyramid event, earning their top score of 9.600 in the Open heat. Canisius totaled 24.50 in the Toss event, led by an 8.400 in the Open heat.

In the Tumbling event, the Griffs scored 46.350. The highest individual pass score came in the six-element pass with an 8.450. Canisius closed the meet with a 66.450 in the Team Event.
