Hockey Places 23 on AHA All-Academic Team; Duo Tabbed AHA Student-Athletes of the Year

The Canisius hockey team had 23 members of the 2024-25 roster recognized for their work in the classroom as Atlantic Hockey America announced its All-Academic Team on Wednesday.

The AHA All-Academic Team honors those student-athletes who posted a GPA of 3.0 or above for both semesters of the 2024-25 academic year.

Freshman defenseman Carter Patterson and freshman forward Hunter Price garnered additional accolades as they were two of the 23 student-athletes that were recognized as Student-Athletes of the Year as both posted a 4.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale during the 2024-25 academic year.

Wednesday's announcement also marked the fifth straight season that the Golden Griffins have had multiple AHA Student-Athlete of the Year honorees.
