Rowing Land 13 on MAAC All-Academic Team

13 members of the Canisius rowing team were named to the 2025 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference All-Academic team, the conference office announced Friday.

Canisius tallied fourth most nominations behind Marist, Fairfield and Sacred Heart. To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at
their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.

The Blue and Gold return to action this weekend at the 2025 MAAC Championship at Cooper River Park in Pennsauken, N.J. on Sunday. The winning team will receive an automatic bid to the NCAA Rowing Championship at Lake Mercer in West Windsor, N.J. For the ESPN+ broadcast of the race, click here.
