Softball Series with Rider Adjusted for Weather

With the weekend weather forecast in mind, officials from Canisius and Rider have made the decision to adjust the schedule for the Golden Griffins and Broncs' upcoming three-game series at the Demske Sports Complex.

In an effort to avoid Sunday's weather forecast, Canisius and Rider will play a doubleheader on Friday, April 4, with game one of the league twinbill set to set at 2 p.m. The third game of the three-game set will be played Saturday, April 5, with game time at the Demske Sports Complex set for noon.

Broadcast information for all three games will be announced when it is finalized.

The series against Rider will be the first three games in a season-long 10-game homestand for the Griffs. Canisius is 3-0 at home this season with a pair of wins over Mercyhurst and a mercy-rule victory over long-time rival St. Bonaventure.
