Box Score EllaGrace Delmond tallied five goals to lift Quinnipiac to a 19-11 victory over Canisius in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference women's lacrosse action Wednesday at the Quinnipiac Soccer & Lacrosse Stadium in Hamden, Conn.

Abby Wise recorded a hat trick and dished out five assists as the Bobcats (9-6, 4-3 MAAC) clinched a postseason berth into the 2025 MAAC Women's Lacrosse Championship.

A first quarter hat trick from Fitzgerald, coupled with two goals from freshman Katie Adams, powered the Griffs to a 5-3 lead after 15 minutes of play.

After surrendering the opening marker of the second quarter, Canisius tallied back-to-back goals thanks to Fitzgerald and senior Hailey Rooney to build a 7-4 lead. The Bobcats controlled play for the remainder of the first half, scoring five of the final six goals before the horn blew for halftime to take a 9-8 lead into the locker room.

Canisius opened the third quarter scoring two straight times to briefly retake the lead, only to see Quinnipiac answer back with six consecutive goals to build a 15-10 advantage heading into the final quarter off play.

Quinnipiac continued its dominance in the fourth quarter as it tallied four of the five goals scored in the stanza to close out the contest and secure the eight-goal victory.
