ON THE WATER:
The Canisius rowing team returns to Buffalo, N.Y., for its lone home event of the Spring as it faces Robert Morris. Rowing is set to commence at 10 a.m.

GRAND FINALS:
At the New York State Championships (April 20), all three Golden Griffins shells made their respective grand finals. The 1v8 boat placed fifth, the 2v8 seventh and the 1v4 came in fourth place. It marked the first time in program history at the New York State Championships under head coach Kerri Brace that all three Canisius boats made their respective grand finals.

CONQUERING THE COLONIALS AT HOME:
Last season against Robert Morris in the Black Rock Cup (April 30, 2023), the Griffs picked up three first place finishes. Both the 1v8 and 2v8 shells defeated Robert Morris by at least 15 seconds in their respective races last season against the Colonials.

WE SEE YOU A LOT:
Since the 2021-22 season, Canisius and Robert Morris have raced one another twice a year. In the fall, the Griffs head to the Steel City to race in the Yinzer Cup where they have earned at least one first place finish each year they have competed. During the Spring, Robert Morris makes the drive north to race in Buffalo, N.Y. Canisius has never finished second to Robert Morris at home in that span.

UP NEXT:
The Blue and Gold are back in action on May 5 when they travel to Shelton, Conn., to race in the Sacred Heart Spring Invitational.
