Jordan Leads the Way for Outdoor Track on Final Day at SUNY Geneseo Early Season Invite

Junior Maura Jordan recorded a pair of top-10 finishes to highlight the second and final day of competition for the Canisius men's and women's outdoor track teams at the SUNY Geneseo Early Season Invitational on Monday at the SUNY Geneseo Track in Geneseo, N.Y.

Jordan began her day by taking third in the women's 400-meter race, crossing the finish line in 58.86. She turned in her second top-10 finish on Monday when she finished seventh in the women's 200-meter race with a time of 26.23.

Junior Katie Gawronski also recorded a top-10 finish, claiming third in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:08.03.

Junior Stephanie Seyfang placed 11th in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 16.90.

In the women's 4x100-meter relay, the grouping of Seyfang and seniors Sylvea Cleary, Bria Jordan and Lindsey Mayer took fourth with a time of 53.31.

On the men's side, the best finish of the day came from junior Ronan McDonald (53.27) and freshman Brody Jones (53.32), who took 19th and 20th place, respectively, in the men's 400-meter race.
