2024-25 • JUNIOR SEASON
• Placed eighth in the Little Three Championships with a time of 16:09.2 (Sept. 6)
• Ran season-best 8k time of 25:59.1 in the Canisius Alumni Classic, placing 20th (Oct. 19)
• Placed seventh in the finals of the 800-meter race at the 2025 MAAC Indoor Track & Field Championships with a time of 1:59.04 (Feb. 23)
2023-24 • SOPHOMORE SEASON
• Placed eighth at the Little Three Championships, crossing the line in 16:01.8
• Ran best 8k time at the Canisius Alumni Classic, finishing in 25:33.3
• Ran a 32:16.8 in the 10k at the NCAA D1 Northeast Region Cross Country Championships
2022-23 • FRESHMAN SEASON
• Recorded a fourth-place finish in the Little Three Cross Country Meet, recording a time of 15:46.3 (Sept. 3)
• Took fourth place in the 800-meter race at the SPIRE Midwest Open, crossing the finish line in 1:55.64 (Jan. 21)
• Helped the distance medley relay recorded a second-place finish at the YSU Mid-Major Invitational, posting a time of 10:18.91 (Jan. 27-28)
• Established a freshman record in the 800-meter race at the BU David Hemery Valentine Invitational, crossing the finish line in 1:55.39 (Feb. 10-11)
• Helped the 4x800 meter relay to a fourth-place finish at the MAAC Indoor Track & Field Championships, posting a time of 7:53.33. Also ran a leg of the distance medley relay that claimed seventh place with a combined time of 10:39.27 (Feb. 18-19)
• Aided the 4x800 meter relay to a sixth-place finish in the Indoor IC4A/ECAC Championships, turning in a time of 7:40.16 (March 3-5)
• Set a freshman record in the 400-meter race at the Geneseo Early Season Invitational, posting a time of 53.32 (April 3)
• Posted a freshman school-record time of 1:55.60 in the 800 meters at the Bison Outdoor Classic (April 14-16)
• Recorded a pair of top-10 finishes at the UB Alumni Invitational, helping the 4x400 meter relay to a third-place result with a time of 3:40.29 while also posting a ninth-place finish in the 400-meter dash with a time of 53.53 (April 22)
• Ran a leg of the 4x800 meter relay that placed third at the MAAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships, posting a time of 7:45.61 (May 6-7)
• Helped the 4x800 meter relay to a ninth-place result in the IC4A/ECAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships, crossing the finish line in 7:44.49 (May 12-14)
BEFORE CANISIUS
• All-State second team and all-county first team honoree at Holland Central
• Helped the Dutchmen claim a Federation Championship and earn All-American status in the 4x800 meter indoor relay
• Section VI champion in the outdoor track 800-meter
• Also was a member of swimming program at Holland Central
• Member of high honor roll
PERSONAL
• Son of Brian and Jen Jones
• Has three sisters: Kasey, Jamie and Riley
• Has one brother, Zach
• Grandmother, Katherine Jones, attended Canisius
• Kasey was a Division II All-American runner at Edinboro College and currently serves as an assistant cross country/track & field coach at Illinois Tech
• Zach was a member of the track & field team at the University at Buffalo, competing in long jump, high jump and heptathlon events
• Riley ran cross country at the University at Buffalo
