1. Loading to Launch
The Canisius women's rowing team gets ready to host its lone event of the spring season Sunday on Senior Day.

2. Event Schedule
Canisius and Robert Morris' second varsity eights will open Sunday's schedule at 10 a.m. on the Black Rock Canal. The program's top varsity eights will take to the water at 10:10 a.m., before the Golden Griffins and Colonials varsity four shells will also go up against D'Youville at 10:20.

Following a break, Robert Morris and Canisius will return to the water at noon for a three-event session with the events running the same as the morning. D'Youville's varsity four will not participate in the afternoon portion.

3. Hosting the Black Rock Cup
Canisius is hosting Robert Morris at the Black Rock Cup for the second time in as many years.

Last year, Canisius' varsity eight claimed a first-place victory in the afternoon session of a tri-meet against the Colonials and Sacred Heart.

In each of the last five Black Rock Cup events Canisius has participated in, the Griffs' varsity eight have garnered a first-place afternoon finish. Canisius beat Stetson in 2015, Robert Morris in 2016, MAAC rival Fairfield in 2017 and outlasted RIT in 2018.
