Davis Named Rookie of the Week

Freshman Riley Davis has been named Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week, the conference announced Wednesday afternoon.

In Saturday's contest against Fairfield, Davis found the back of the net three times, for her second hat trick of the campaign.

The Painted Post, N.Y., native leads the Blue and Gold with 10 goals and is tied for first on the team with 12 points.

Canisius returns to the field Saturday morning, when they travel to face off with MAAC opponent Iona. Game time in New Rochelle, N.Y. is set for 11 a.m. and can be streamed live on ESPN3.
