The last time the Griffs played back-to-back games at home was March 27 and 30, 2019 when they played host to Siena and Quinnipiac.

2. Series History

Canisius trails the all-time series with the Stags 16-12. The Griffs last regular season win against Fairfield in Buffalo was March 25, 2016 when the Griffs were victorious by a 12-6 margin.

3. Overtime Winners

Last Saturday's victory against Monmouth was the first overtime victory for the Golden Griffins since March 30, 2018 at Iona. After trailing 14-7 with 17:43 remaining in regulation, Canisius outscored the Hawks 9-1 to come away with the 16-15 victory.

4. Marissa's Stellar Play

With her three-point performance against Monmouth, senior Marissa Malvaso extended her point streak to 19 games. Against Monmouth, Malvaso scored the game winning goal for Canisius in overtime, helping the Griffs erase a seven-goal halftime deficit. The last contest the Syracuse, N.Y. native did not register a point was March 22, 2019, against Manhattan. Malvaso has had a point for the Griffs in 30 of the last 31 contests.
