Canisius will play its first of four-straight home games against St. Bonaventure Wednesday at 4 p.m. at the Demske Sports Complex in Buffalo, N.Y.

Last Time Out
• Canisius fell to Albany, 19-8 Saturday afternoon in Albany, N.Y.
• Albany scored 11 of its 18 goals in the first half to defeat the Blue and Gold.
• The Golden Griffins were led by senior Bryar Cummings, sophomore Katie Smolensky and freshman Paige Stachura.
• The trio scored two goals each for the Blue and Gold with Cummings picking up an assist as well.
• Juniors Marissa Malvaso and Miranda Malvaso were the other goal scorers for the Griffs, both of whom have now scored at least once in all five games this season.
• Junior netminders Lauren Gilbert and Emily Van Kessel combined to face 39 shots from the Great Danes in the loss. Van Kessel replaced Gilbert during the final ten minutes of play, stopping a pair of shots.

Scouting Canisius
• Marissa and Miranda Malvaso, as well as Smolensky have recorded 10 or more points this season.
• Marissa leads the team with 15 points on nine goals and six assists, while her sister Miranda leads Canisius with 10 goals to go with a pair of helpers.
• Smolensky has eight goals and six assists for a total of 14 points.
• Gilbert has played the most time in cage for the Blue and Gold, totaling 253:28 minutes in net and stopping 69 shots. Gilbert also has a team-high 13 ground balls on the year.
• Van Kessel who has played in a little over 40 minutes in cage this season has a save percentage of .412.
• Freshman Kaitlyn Salce leads the team with 15 draw controls while teammate Antonia Malvaso has a team-best 10 caused turnovers.

Scouting St. Bonaventure
• The Bonnies enter Wednesday afternoon 5-1 on the regular season.
• Destinee Johnson leads the team with 19 goals and 22 points, while teammate Nora Anderson is the teams assists leader with seven.
• Goalies, Savannah Clarke and Ashley Herrick have split time in cage with Herrick playing 189:57 of the possible 300 minutes.
• Herrick leads the team with .507 save percentage and 37 saves.

Series History
• Wednesday will be the 15th meeting between the Little Three rivals, with each team winning seven games in the all-time series.
• Canisius is currently on a six-game win streak over Bona, after the Bonnies went 7-1 in the first eight meetings between the two programs.
• The last meeting between the two schools was March 28, 2016, a 16-5 victory for the Griffs.
