1. Kid's Day
• Thursday's contest will be the 21st Annual Kids Day game, presented by Independent Health. The Blue and Gold will host more than 2,000 students from 12 local elementary schools. The students will participate in a relay race and fitness dance during halftime. Tickets to the public will not be sold.

2. Big Win
• Canisius finished its six-game road swing with a win over MAAC foe Monmouth Saturday afternoon in West Long Branch, N.J., by a final score of 71-62. The Golden Griffins took the lead late in the third quarter and never relinquished it en route to their first league win of the season.

3. Back in WNY
• For the first time since Nov. 27, Canisius is back home in the Koessler Athletic Center. The Griffs are 1-2 at home this season and sport an 8-10 mark under second-year head coach Scott Hemer while defending Main Street.

4. Big Day on the Glass
• Senior Anna Sweny collected 10 rebounds in the Blue and Gold's win over Monmouth. It was the second time in the guard's career that she grabbed 10 caroms in a single game with the first time coming against Oakland, Nov. 29, 2017.

5. Four Score
• For the second time in three games, Canisius had four players reach double figures in the scoring column. In the win over Monmouth, seniors D'Jhai Patterson-Ricks and Tiana Pugh tallied 20 and 17 points, respectively while junior Danielle Sanderlin scored 15 points and graduate transfer AJ Timbers poured in 14 points.
