Date: Saturday, April 20
Time: 12 p.m.

Series History: Fairfield leads, 16-12

1. It All Comes Down to This
• Canisius still has a chance to make the postseason for the 12th-straight season. With a Golden Griffins win and Quinnipiac loss to Monmouth, Canisius will earn the sixth seed. The Griffs can also drop Saturday's game versus Fairfield and make the upcoming conference tournament due to tiebreakers, as long as Niagara and Quinnipiac both lose as well.

2. Rematch
• Saturday is a rematch of the 2018 MAAC title game in which Fairfield came out on top, 14-10, despite the Griffs pulling within two with just under seven minutes to play. Saturday will be the 29th meeting between Fairfield and Canisius, with the Stags holding a 12-16 advantage in the series. In the last five meetings between the two programs, The Griffs are 3-2, including two postseason wins.

3. History Will be Made
• Senior Jourdan Roemer recorded five points in the Griffs midweek win over long-time rival Niagara, tying her with former Canisius standout Tori Quinn (251) for first all-time. Roemer is also five assists away from breaking Lauren Walsh's record of 103 career helpers.

4. Gilbert's First Career Win in Cage
•  Sophomore netminder Lauren Gilbert earned her first career win in the cage against Niagara Wednesday night, stopping 14 of the Purple Eagles 34 shots. The sophomore has stepped up during MAAC play as she has the third-best save percentage (.477) in league play while leading the conference in saves per game (12.20).

5. Undefeated Fairfield
• The Stags enter play with a perfect 7-0 league mark earning them the MAAC Regular Season Title and home-field advantage for the MAAC Championship. This season the Stags have been led by Brooke Gallagher and her team-high 59 points (32 goals, 27 assists) and Taylor Mitchell who has a team-best 34 goals on the season. In the cage for the Stags is Olivia Conquest, who on the season has recorded a save percentage of .444, while allowing just 11.60 goals per game.
