Date: Saturday, March 30
Time: 11 a.m.
Location: Buffalo, N.Y. | Demske Sports Complex
Series History: Canisius leads, 5-3

1. Series History
• Canisius holds a 5-3 edge over Quinnipiac in a series that dates back to 1999. Quinnipiac won the first three meetings between the two teams, back when the Bobcats were a member of the Northeast Conference. However, since Quinnipiac joined the MAAC in 2014 the Blue and Gold have dominated the series, winning five straight over the Connecticut-based program.

2. Remembering Roemer's Big Day Last April
• The last time these two teams met was April of last season and Jourdan Roemer exploded for a career-high nine points against the Bobcats. Roemer scored four goals and added five helpers on the day to help lead Canisius to a 12-7 win over Quinnipiac in Hamden, Conn.

3. Griffs Offense Explodes for 16 against Siena
• The Golden Griffins scored a season-best 16 goals in their overtime loss to Siena Wednesday afternoon. Roemer tallied five goals, while teammate sophomore Marissa Malvaso scored four to help pace the Canisius attack. Graduate students Jen Reininger and Rachel Heidenreich, as well as freshman Megan Hoffman, also found the back of the net twice.

4. Malvaso has Career Day
• Midfielder Marissa Malvaso recorded a career-high four goals against the Saints, three of which came on free-position shot attempts. Prior to Wednesday, the sophomore never tallied more than three goals in a single contest during her career.

5.    Beads of Courage
• The Canisius College women's lacrosse team is participating in a program called "Beads of Courage" to share their personal strength and encouragement with hospitalized children. The Beads of Courage help children with serious illness record, tell and own their stories of courage through the use of symbolic beads.  It is courage they can touch. The players will be carrying a bead that will be given to a child, along with a personal note of encouragement, to let them know they are not in this fight alone. The Beads of Courage program is in over 400 hospitals throughout the world, as well as 12 hospitals right here in New York state.
