1.    Two Years in A Row
• Friday's contest will be the second meeting all-time between Bryant and Canisius, with the first coming last March. Senior Jourdan Roemer recorded a hat trick on the day, including the game-winner with 5:21 left in regulation. Graduate student Jen Reininger also turned in a three-goal effort and sophomore Marissa Malvaso added one for the Griffs.

2.    Heidenreich Becoming a Scoring Option
• In the last three games, transfer Rachel Heidenreich has tallied a total of five goals, including a pair in her first start as a member of the Blue and Gold against Marquette. The Lancaster, N.Y., native scored her first goal as a Griff against George Mason on March 3.

3.    Maroney Stops 14
• Freshman goalie Shannon Maroney started her third game in-between the pipes on Friday afternoon, collecting 14 saves on 33 shots. Maroney has appeared in five games this season and currently ranks 10th in the MAAC with a save percentage of .342.

4.    Smolensky Gets First Career Goal
• Freshman Katie Smolensky recorded her first career goal against Marquette on Friday afternoon. The attacker recorded a team-best three points as she assisted on two other Canisius goals in the loss. On the season, Smolensky has a total of four points.

5.    Quick Turnaround
• Following Canisius' game with the Bulldogs the team will travel to Riverdale, N.Y., to play its first league game of the season against Manhattan. Opening draw is scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday at Gaelic Park
