• Wednesday's contest will be the 11th meeting all-time between Canisius and Robert Morris and first since March 24, 2014. The Golden Griffins have a 10-0 record all-time against the Colonials, including a 5-0 mark in Joe Walton Stadium.

• Graduate student Jen Reininger recorded a first-half hat trick in the Griffs season-opening loss at Notre Dame. The three-goal outing was the Irondequoit, N.Y., native's 21st hat trick of her collegiate career.

4. Newton's First Career Start• Senior goalkeeper Ellen Newton made her first career start between the pipes at Notre Dame. In 34 minutes of play, the Victor, N.Y., product made seven saves on 21 shots, while picking up one ground ball.

5. Climbing up the Record Books
• The reigning MAAC Midfielder of the Year, Reininger is now just three goals away from tying Carly Quinn (107) for 10th on the Griffs all-time scoring list. The midfielder is also two draw controls away from tying Brett Poissant (142) for fifth in program history.
