Canisius concludes its four-game road swing Saturday night against the Red Foxes. During the first three games of the road trip the Golden Griffins are shooting just 37.7 percent from the floor and 20.0 percent from 3-point territory. Canisius is allowing 71.3 points while scoring just 56.0 points per game during the road trip.
 
2. Road Warrior
Junior D'Jhai Patterson-Ricks has thrived on the road this season, averaging 13.1 points per game, while shooting 44.2 percent from the field. The Fayetteville, N.Y., native has scored 15 or more points four times this season while on the road, highlighted by her career-high 24-point outing against St. Bonaventure earlier this season.
 
3. Previously against Marist
Canisius and Marist met back on Jan. 5 of this year, with the Red Foxes narrowly defeating the Blue and Gold 71-66. Patterson-Ricks led the way for Canisius in that game, scoring 23 points, 10 of which came in the third quarter. Senior Sara Hinriksdottir and Anndea Zeigler also recorded double-figures with 16 and 13 points, respectively. Marist's Alana Gilmer took over the game in the third quarter helping the Red Foxes edge out the Griffs in Buffalo, N.Y.
 
4. Starters carrying the load
The Blue and Gold starting five has carried the offensive production throughout the season, averaging 41.8 points per game, while the bench is scoring just 16.9 points per contest. Canisius starters shoot 38.9 percent from the field, 33.2 percent from the perimeter and 72.9 percent from the line.
 
5. Home stretch
Canisius enters the final five games of the regular season just one-win shy of matching its total from the 2017-18 season. The Golden Griffins will play three of its final five games at home, highlighted by a rematch against rival Niagara Nov. 27.
