1. Home Sweet Home
• Canisius will play its first home game of the 2019-20 season on Sunday as it hosts long-time rival St. Bonaventure. Last season, the Griffs went 7-8 overall and 6-3 in MAAC play when playing in the Koessler Athletic Center. As a team, Canisius scored 58.0 points per game at home a year ago, while shooting nearly 40 percent from the field and 35 percent from the perimeter. The Golden Griffins also outrebounded its opponents at home by nearly six boards a night.

2. Back-to-Back Big 4 Games
• The Blue and Gold will be playing their second-straight Big 4 opponent on the young season, after dropping its contest at Buffalo on Tuesday night. The Griffs have not played back-to-back Big 4 opponents since 2014.

3. Stealing Sweny, or Sweeney
• Canisius generated seven steals Tuesday night at Buffalo, five of which came from either senior Anna Sweny, or sophomore transfer Shayla Sweeney (pronounced the same). On the season, Sweny leads the team with a total of four steals, while Sweeney is tied for second with two takeaways.

4. Overtime
• The previous two meetings between Canisius and St. Bonaventure have both needed extra time to determine the winner, with each team trading wins. Last season, the Bonnies outlasted the Griffs in a triple-overtime thriller, 100-94 and Canisius picked up the two-point win, 71-69, two years ago at home.

5. Pugh's Strong Start
• Rome, N.Y., native Tiana Pugh has recorded double-digit scoring numbers to open the season for the first time in her career. The senior recorded a team-high 14 points in the season-opener at Youngstown and followed it up with 11 points at Buffalo. Pugh also leads the team with 7.5 rebounds per game so far.
