Five Things to Know Before Canisius Faces Quinnipiac
1. Canisius Looking to Get Back to Winning Ways
• Canisius returns to the road for two MAAC games in the state of Connecticut, starting Thursday at Quinnipiac. The Golden Griffins are 5-11 overall and 2-2 in MAAC play after falling to Iona 88-70 at home last Sunday. The loss to the Gaels was the team's third straight loss, and the Blue and Gold's fourth-straight defeat at home.

2. Road Wins
• Canisius starts this weekend's road swing at Quinnipiac and Fairfield on a two-game road win streak after the team went on the road and started MAAC play with wins at Marist (Jan. 3) and Siena (Jan. 5). Those two wins allowed Canisius to start the conference schedule with a 2-0 record for just the seventh time since 1989-90, and this year is just the second time in 30 seasons where the Blue and Gold opened conference action with back-to-back road victories.

3. Reese Chasing 1,000
• Canisius junior Isaiah Reese needs four points to reach the famed 1,000 point milestone for his career. The program's active career scoring leader, Reese is averaging 15.0 points per game in the team's last five contests. He will be the 38th player in school history to reach the 1,000-career point milestone, and he will be just the ninth player in the program's 115-year history to reach the mark in his junior season.

4. Molson Continues to Double-Up
• Sophomore Takal Molson scored 13 points in the Griffs' loss to Iona last Sunday, giving him 10-or more points in all 16 games this year and in 20-straight games, dating back to last season. The Buffalo native leads the MAAC in free-throw makes (82) and free-throw attempts (105).

5. White Scores and Blocks
• Sophomore Jalanni White scored a career-high nine points in the loss to Iona last Sunday, where he also grabbed four rebounds and blocked a shot. He has a blocked shot in four of the team's last five contests and starts Thursday's game ranked sixth in the MAAC in blocked shots per game average with 0.7 per game.
