Big 4 Basketball Watch Party at (716) Set for Friday Night

(716) Food and Sport will host a "Big 4 College Basketball Watch Party" on Friday, Jan. 19, as Canisius, Buffalo and St. Bonaventure all play nationally televised games on the ESPN-family of networks. The watch party starts at 7 p.m., and will run through the conclusion of the Canisius-Manhattan men's basketball game, which tips off at 9 p.m., on ESPNU. (716) Food and Sport is located at 7 Scott Street, Buffalo, inside HARBORCENTER.

At 7 p.m., Buffalo will play at Western Michigan on ESPNU, while St. Bonaventure plays at Davidson on ESPN2. The Golden Griffins' game at Manhattan will wrap up the TV tripleheader. Canisius fans are encouraged to wear Griffs gear, as the staff at (716) will be handing out prizes and offering food specials to those wearing their school's colors.

Canisius, which has won seven of its last eight games, is 11-9 overall and 5-1 in MAAC play after beating Monmouth at home Jan. 15, by the score of 94-79. This marks the best start to league play for Canisius since the 2013-14 season.
