All-Canisius XI First Team
Tony Burke, F, 1993-96
Named MAAC Player of the Year in 1996 … Two-time All-MAAC First Team selection … Scored the only goal in a 1996 meeting with Loyola, leading Canisius to a 1-0 victory that earned the team the MAAC regular-season title (also the only win for a Canisius team versus the Greyhounds) … Ranks third in school history in points (74) and second in goals (34) … His 16 tallies during the 1995 season are also the most in school history, while his 33 points rank second.

Gianfranco Gallo, F, 1986-89
Ranks second in school history with 75 career points, third with 27 career goals and fourth with 21 career assists … His career points record stood for 19 seasons … Recorded a career-best 33 points in 1987, tied the second-most in school history, while his 13 assists that same year still stands as the program's standard 28 years later … Also holds school single-game records in points (12) and goals (5), set in 1988 against Brockport.

Alan McGreal, F, 2006-09
The only player in the program's history to earn All-MAAC honors in each of his four seasons on campus … Collected first-team accolades as a sophomore and as a senior … Two-time selection to the NSCAA All-Region Team … 2006 MAAC Rookie of the Year … Owns school records with 99 career points (24 more than the next highest Griff), 35 goals and 29 assists.

Asani Samuels, F, 2011-14
The only three-time NSCAA All-Region selection in school history … Also earned All-MAAC accolades twice during his career, including first-team honors as a senior … Totaled 38 points, 16 goals and six assists during his career – ranking 10th in school history in career goals.

Gavin Falconer, M, 2011-12
Became the only Griff to earn NSCAA All-Region First Team honors during the 2012 season, leading the team during a season that it earned votes in the national poll for the first time in school history … Totaled 26 points, 10 goals and six assists as a senior, which are tied for seventh, ninth and ninth, respectively in school history … His 26 points that season are tied for the most by a Canisius midfielder … Overall, recorded 33 points, 13 goals and seven assists in 32 career games.

Matt Kiechle, M, 1993-96
Ranks first among midfielders and fifth overall in school history with 59 career points … Also places sixth in school history with 21 career goals (first among midfielders) and fifth with 17 assists (third among midfielders) … Set career highs with 26 points, 10 goals and six assists in 1995, which rank seventh, ninth and ninth, respectively … His 26 points that season are the tied for the most by a Canisius midfielder.

Ryan Puntiri, M, 1996-99
Named to the All-MAAC First Team in 1999 and the All-MAAC Second Team in 1998 … Ranks sixth in school history with 58 career points (second among midfielders) and second overall with 29 career assists … The only player in the program's history to record at least 10 assists in two different seasons … One of four players in school history with three assists in a game and the only player to do it multiple times (accomplished the feat three times).

Fabien Lewis, D, 2003-05
Named the 2003 MAAC Defensive Player of the Year, the only Griff in school history to earn the accolade … Also named to the 2004 All-MAAC Second Team … Missed most of his final season at Canisius but helped record eight shutouts in 33 games during his first two campaigns on campus.

Tony Mermigas, D, 1995-98
Key member of the Griffs defensive unit during the 1996 campaign, helping the program to conference regular-season title … Earned first-team All-MAAC accolades following his senior season in 1998 … Appeared in 66 career games with 17 points, four goals and nine assists, while helping the team post 10 shutouts.

Joe Rivera, D, 1982-85
Amassed 33 points during his career – which was the second-most among all players at the time of his graduation … Totaled 13 goals and seven assists from the back line … Also helped the Griffs record four shutouts during his career.

Andrew Coughlin, GK, 2014-15
Set or tied three single-season school records during his first season on campus – establishing marks in goals against average (0.85), shutouts (eight – double the previous standard) and wins (nine) … Also anchored a unit that set school records for fewest goals allowed and scoring defense … On pace to finish his career this season with all-time marks in goals against average, wins and shutouts … Also owns the program's shutout streak record (399:19).

Remy Jackson, F, 1987-90
Ranks fourth in school history with 62 career points, fourth with 23 career goals and sixth with 16 career assists … Set a school record with 36 points during the 1987 season, a record that still stands 28 seasons later … One of two Griffs to record at least 10 goals and 10 assists during the same season.

Charlie Williams, F, 1996-00
Named to the All-MAAC First Team during the 1997 campaign … Recorded 41 points, 18 goals and five assists during his career … Tallied a career-best 13 points in 1997, while posting a personal-high six goals in 1999 … Netted four goals as a rookie to help the Griffs to the MAAC regular-season title … Missed most of the 1998 season with an injury.

Paul Zach, F, 1971-72
In just two seasons as a Griff, recorded 33 points, 14 goals and five assists in 27 games … His 33 points stood as the most in school history until the 1984 season … Recorded three assists in a 1972 contest, which remains a record today.

Tommaso Occhiuto, M, 1974-77
Led the Griffs in goals in four-straight seasons from 1974 to 1977 … Invited to participate in the United States Olympic Tryouts for the 1976 Montreal Games while at Canisius … The first recipient of a soccer scholarship at Canisius.

Matt Radomski, M, 1985-88
Registered 42 points, eight goals and 26 assists during his career … His 26 assists are the third-most in school history and stood as the program's best for 11 seasons … Set career highs with 19 points, four goals and 11 assists during the 1987 campaign.

Matt Tyczka, M, 1992-95
Named to the 1994 All-MAAC First Team … Became the first four-year player to earn all-conference honors at Canisius and remains one of just three midfielders in school history to collect the accolade … Recorded a career-best 14 points on four goals and six assists as a junior in 1994 after missing most of his sophomore campaign with an injury … Also netted a personal-best five tallies during the 1992 season.

Ashley Anthony, D, 1992-94
Named to the 1994 All-MAAC First Team … Anchored a unit that posted four shutouts in 1994 and cut its scoring defense in half from his junior campaign … Also totaled 14 points, three goals and eight assists in 49 career games as a Griff.

Tom Garigen, D, 1994-96
Named to the 1996 All-MAAC First Team, anchoring the Canisius defense to its only regular-season MAAC title in school history … Helped the team recorded 12 shutouts in 51 collegiate games, while the Griffs allowed only 2.02 goals per game during his career … Added six assists on the offensive end.

Ainsley Romany, D, 2001-03
Appeared in 48 games during his collegiate career, splitting time between the midfield and defense … Recorded 10 points on three goals and four assists during his collegiate tenure … Helped the Griffs post 11 shutouts during his career, including a program-low 1.61 goals per game during his senior season when he was a full-time defender.

John Ford, GK, 1995-98
Ranks second in school history 414 career saves and 16 career goalie wins … Set career highs in his three seasons as a starter in 1996 with a 1.90 goal against average, .807 save percentage and three shutouts, helping the Griffs to the MAAC regular-season title … The only netminder to earn a win against conference powerhouse, Loyola, recorded 10 saves on 23 shots in a 1-0 victory over the Greyhounds in 1996.

Tom Rocca, GK, 1980-81
Graduated with numerous goaltending records to his name (single-season saves, goals against average and wins plus career shutouts) … His single-season wins record still stands and was matched for the first time last season, while his single-season goals against average mark stood for 26 years until 2006 … His six career shutouts also remained a program best for 21 seasons … Anchored a team that posted the best winning percentage in school history (.600), while the defense's 19 goals allowed were a school record until last season.
