earned the league's Offensive Player of the Year honors, while Oosting was
named MAAC Midfielder of the Year and Leonard shared Defensive Player of the
Year accolades.
Overall, the Griffs matched a school record with seven all-conference
selections on the night. Quinn, Oosting and Leonard were joined on the All-MAAC

Quinn is the second Griff to earn MAAC Offensive Player of
the Year honors, joining Whitney Card in 2006. As a senior, Quinn leads the
team with 68 points, netting 28 goals to go along with 40 assists. Her 68
points are currently one shy of the school record, while her 40 helpers are two

nationally with 4.25 points per game plus first in the conference and eighth in
the country with 2.50 assists per game.
During her four-year career, Quinn has accumulated 193
points, 104 goals and 89 assists. The Orangeville, Ontario native, who also
earned first-team all-conference accolades as a junior, enters the weekend
third in school history in career points, fifth in career goals and second in
career assists.
The winner of the conference's inaugural Midfielder of the
Year award, Oosting has recorded 57 points on a team-best 49 goals and eight
assists. She also leads the Griffs with 58 draw controls to go along with 30
ground balls and 18 caused turnovers. The senior leads all players in the MAAC
in both goals and draw controls, ranking 13th nationally with 3.27 goals per
game and 24th with 3.87 draw controls per game.
A three-time All-MAAC First-Team selection, Oosting has
totaled 176 points, 145 goals, 31 assists, 189 draw controls, 133 ground balls
and 84 caused turnovers during her career. She owns the school's all-time
records in goals and draw controls, while ranking fourth in points, fourth in
caused turnovers and seventh in assists.
Leonard anchored the Griff defense in her first season at
Canisius after spending the previous two years at Delaware. The junior leads all
players in the MAAC with 37 caused turnovers in 2012, ranking fifth nationally
with 2.31 per game. She also leads the Griffs with 41 ground balls in addition to
30 draw controls, 18 goals and eight assists.
Leonard, who shared the award with Siena's Amanda Corso and
Iona's Stephanie Sumicizk, is the fourth Griff to collect MAAC Defensive
Player of the Year accolades, joining Elise Crawford in 2004, Alana Chan in
2005 and Allison Daley in 2010.
Morgan had a breakthrough season for the Griffs from the
midfield. A second-team All-MAAC selection as a sophomore, she ranks second on
the team with 39 goals and 25 caused turnovers plus third with 44 points. The
junior currently places sixth in the MAAC with 2.44 goals per game and second
with 1.56 caused turnovers per game. She has also added 34 ground balls and 20
draw controls in 2012.
Gabby Kotas collected all-conference accolades for the first
time in her career. The sophomore defender has started all 16 games for the Griffs,
totaling 25 ground balls, 11 caused turnovers and six draw controls.
Maria Kotas earned second-team all-conference honors for the
second-straight campaign. On the offensive end, the sophomore midfielder ranks
fourth on the team with 18 goals and fifth with 24 points. The Lancaster, New
York native also places third on the team in both ground balls (31) and draw
controls (29), while ranking fourth with 17 caused turnovers on the defensive
end.

accolades in her rookie season. The Orangeville, Ontario native has appeared in
16 games with six starting assignments, totaling 20 points, 16 goals, 18 draw
controls, 16 caused turnovers and 16 ground balls.
Quinn plus fellow freshman Meghan Cuddy and Kayla Scully were also named to the MAAC All-Rookie
Team.
In addition to the Griffs' seven all-conference selections,
six student-athletes were honored for their work in the classroom. Oosting and
Quinn were joined by seniors Rachel
Brand and Mary
Butlak and juniors Kate
Gosson and Gina
Molfetta on the MAAC All-Academic Team.
