A day after competing at the Challenge on the Canal, the Canisius College rowing team returned to the Frnak Lloyd Wright Fontana Boathouse to host D'Youville in a head race along the Black Rock Canal. In the three-boat race, the Golden Griffins took the top-two spots to finish the weekend.

The Golden Griffins' Varsity Eight took home the top spot with a time of 11:04 followed by the Second Varsity Eight in a time of 11:44. D'Youville rounded out the competition in third, posting a time of 12:39.

The Blue and Gold close out the Fall schedule at the Head of the Genesee on Saturday, Oct. 13 in Rochester, N.Y. along the Genesee River.
