12.6 scoring average through five conference games.

ranks 31st nationally in 3-point field goal percentage.

Kayla Hoohuli
is shooting 45.5 percent
from behind the arc in the last 11 games and leads all MAAC freshmen with 28 3-pointers,
nine more than the next highest total.
- Canisius leads the MAAC
in free-throw percentage (77.6) and ranks 11th nationally.
- The 2011-12 Golden
Griffin roster features zero seniors for the first time since the 2004-05 team. Every other
roster in the MAAC features at least two seniors.

GRIFFS
- Sophomore
Jamie Ruttle,
the 2011 MAAC Rookie of the
Year, leads Canisius in scoring (11.3) and rebounding (5.3). She has scored in double figures
in seven of the last 10 games and is shooting 56.6 percent inside the arc in the last eight games.
- Sophomore
Jen Morabito, a MAAC All-Rookie Team
selection, has made 34 3-point field goals this season, accounting for 72.3 percent of her
made field goals. Morabito has made three or more 3-pointers in seven games and is tied
for team lead by scoring in double figures nine times.
- Junior Allison Braun, the team's captain for the 2011-12
season, is shooting 50.8 percent from the field in the last 13 games. Braun has at least five
rebounds in eight games and has at least one steal in 14 of the last 15 games.
- Junior Ashley Durham has 42 assists in the last eight
contests and is third in the MAAC in assists per game (4.3). Durham also ranks second in the
conference in free-throw percentage (90.0) and has made 53 of her last 56 free throws.
- Freshman
Kayla Hoohuli
has 25 3-pointers in the last
11 games. She had 10 rebounds on Monday, the first Golden Griffin with double-digit
boards in a game this season. Hoohuli has drawn a team-high seven charges on the season and is
averaging 10.8 points in the last eight games.

Courtney
VandeBovenkamp
is averaging 6.9 points and 4.8 rebounds in the last seven games. She had a career-high with five blocks against Cornell
on Dec. 28. VandeBovenkamp has made her last 14 free throws.
- Junior Ashley Wilkes has at least five rebounds in eight
games this season and has recorded at least one steal in 10 games. Wilkes leads the team
with a 51.3 field goal percentage, including a 59.5 field goal percentage at home.
- Sophomore
Jen Lennox
has scored six or more
points in six games this season. The 6-foot-3 forward has a block in 25 career games,
including eight blocks in her last 10 appearances.
- Junior Melissa Gardner is averaging 9.3 rebounds per 40
minutes and has made 11 of her last 15 free throws.
- Freshman
Brooke Angelos
is averaging 5.5 assists per
40 minutes.
FAIRFIELD SCOUT
- Fairfield is 11-5 with a
4-1 record in the MAAC. The Stags lost 59-47 to Marist on Thursday, dropping their first
conference game.
- Fairfield is 5-1 at home
this season. The Stags have won nine straight games at Alumni Hall, with the loss to Marist coming in Bridgeport.
- Senior Taryn Johnson
leads the team in scoring (12.6), ranking eighth in the MAAC. The preseason All-MAAC
First-Team selection is second in the league in rebounding (8.0), first in field goal
percentage (52.5) and first in blocked shots (1.9).
- Senior Desiree Pina is
ninth in the league in scoring (11.7), first in minutes per game (38.1), tied for fifth in assists
per game (3.3) and tied for sixth in 3-point field goal percentage (38.6).
- Freshman Alexys
Vazquez leads the MAAC in 3-point field goal percentage (43.1) while junior Katelyn Linney
leads the league in 3-point field goals made per game (2.2).
- Fairfield is fourth in
scoring margin, second in field goal percentage defense (37.0), fourth in FG percentage
(37.5) and fifth in turnover margin (-0.6).
- Joe Frager is in his fifth
season at Fairfield and the Stags have have two 20-win seasons under Frager, who won a
Division II national title at Southern Connecticut State in 2007.

HISTORY VS. FAIRFIELD
- Canisius and Fairfield are
meeting for the 50th time, with the Stags holding a 28-21 lead in the all-time series.
- Fairfield has won the last
four meetings between the teams. The Stags have won three straight over Canisius in Alumni
Hall and nine of the last 10 against the Griffs in Fairfield's on-campus home venue.
- Canisius last won in Alumni Hall on Feb. 11, 2007, a 74-64 victory over the Stags.
