Brett Chance Leaves Canisius

Canisius College men's basketball coach Tom Parrotta announced today that freshman Brett Chance (Oviedo, Fla.) has decided not to return to Canisius College for the spring semester.

Chance played in eight games for the Golden Griffins, where he averaged 2.6 points and 0.8 rebounds per contest.

“We are disappointed with Brett's decision to not return, but understand these are the choices young people make sometimes,” Parrotta said. “After being home for the holiday break, Brett elected not to return to campus.”

Canisius is currently on a two-game winning streak and returns to action Saturday, Jan. 3, when the team plays host to Loyola, presented by Independent Health and Delta Sonic. The game against the Greyhounds in the Koessler Athletic Center will tipoff at 2 p.m.
