Former Griff Todd Bisson Named CHL?s Manager of Hockey Administration

The Central Hockey League (CHL) announced that former Canisius standout Todd Bisson has been named the CHL's Manager of Hockey Administration. Bisson played for the Griffs from 1997 to 2001.

“We are very happy with everything that Todd offers this position,” said CHL Commissioner Duane Lewis. “His background will be useful in many different areas and be a big boost in the service given to our member teams.”

Bisson played four seasons with the Griffs, accumulating 102 points on 45 goals and 57 assists in 111 career games. Bisson recorded 75 points in three seasons at the Division I level, the seventh-most by a Griff. He capped his career with a personal-best 34 points, 15 goals and 19 assists during the 2000-01 season.

After college, Bisson played professional hockey for four seasons including stops in the ECHL and United Hockey League. In 2005, he moved to Phoenix and worked for the Phoenix Coyotes as their Youth Hockey Coordinator. While in Arizona, he also served as the head coach for Arizona State's men's team and has utilized his service at both the Desert Schools Coyotes Center and at the Alltel Ice Den working in hockey administration and with youth programs.

Bisson earned his bachelor's degree at Canisius in finance and economics and his master's in sports administration.
