Women's Basketball Heads to Italy for Foreign Tour

The Canisius College women's basketball team will depart the Koessler Athletic Center Aug. 18, for a 10-day trip to Italy which will feature stops in Como, Venice, Udine, Florence and Rome. In addition to sightseeing, the Golden Griffins will also step on the court to face off against three Italian basketball teams.

"The whole program is excited about this trip," head coach Terry Zeh said. "This foreign tour presents our student-athletes and staff a great chance to experience some unbelievable educational opportunities, and it also allows us to enjoy a quality team-building event as well."
