Hockey Announces Non-Conference Slate

Canisius hockey head coach Trevor Large announced the program's 2026-27 non-conference schedule on Thursday, a 10-game slate that features two home dates and eight road contests.

Entering its 10th season under the guidance of Large, the Golden Griffins are slated to begin the upcoming campaign at home with a two-game set against Large's alma mater, Ferris State (Oct. 2-3).

Canisius then takes to the road for the first of three straight weekends when it travels to LIU for a pair of games (Oct. 9-10).

Following its series against the Sharks, the Griffs remain in the Empire State as they make a visit to North Country to square off against Clarkson for a two-game set (Oct. 16-17).

Canisius closes out the month of October with a visit to State College, Pa., for a pair of games against 2026 NCAA Tournament participant Penn State (Oct. 23-24).

After beginning November with the start of Atlantic Hockey America play, the Griffs close out their non-conference slate Thanksgiving Weekend as they travel to 2026 NCAA Tournament finalist Wisconsin for two games (Nov. 28-29).

Season tickets for the 2026-27 season are now on sale. Individual game tickets will be available for purchase in September.
