Canisius trailed 38-25 at the 9:04 mark of the third quarter before a 15-8 run to close out the period brought them within six points heading into the fourth.

The Griffs continued to battle back during the final frame, tallying 14 of the first 18 points of the stanza to grab a 52-50 lead with 4:20 remaining in regulation.

Marist responded to the Canisius surge, rattling off six straight points to jump back in front, 56-52. Wittenberg sent the game to overtime with a pair of clutch buckets to tie the game at 57-57, highlighted by a corner three with 1:15 remaining in the fourth quarter.
