Graduate student Olivia Moran and senior Maura Jordan highlighted the first day for Canisius in the 2024 ECAC/IC4A Indoor Track & Field Championships Saturday at the Boston University Track & Tennis Center in Boston, Mass.
Moran qualified for the finals in the one-mile race, placing sixth with a time of 4:58.21. Junior Kayla Schmidt finished 14th, crossing the line at 5:01.16
Jordan once again broke her own program record in the women's 400m run, eclipsing the 57-second barrier with a time of 56.86.
On the men's side, graduate student Andrew Perreault competed in the one-mile race, earning a 15th-place finish with a time of 4:11.57. The only other Golden Griffin to run for the men was graduate student Tom Appenheimer in the 5000m race which saw him come in ninth, crossing the finish line in 14:32.75.
