Colgate improved to 10-3 on the season with the victory, while the Golden Griffins fell to 1-11 with the loss.

Diehl's hot shooting was complemented by 11 point scoring efforts from Taylor Golembiewski and Anne Bair. The Raiders ended the game by shooting 42.4 percent from the field, 33.3 percent from distance (8-for-24) and 72.7 percent (8-for-11) from the free-throw line.

Junior Franka Wittenberg led Canisius in scoring with her 13 points and seven rebounds. Junior Mariam Sanogo chipped in a season-high 12 points to go along with seven board and four steals.

The Griffs kept the game close in the first half, trailing by six before the halftime break.
