Men’s Lacrosse Unveils 2025 Schedule

Canisius men's lacrosse coach Mark Miyashita announced the 2025 schedule on Tuesday, a 15-game slate that features seven home contests and eight road dates.
 
The Golden Griffins open their eighth season under Miyashita on Feb. 8 with a road contest at regional rival Hobart before kicking off the home slate Feb. 15 with a visit from Bellarmine.
 
Canisius makes a trip to Central New York Feb. 18 for its inaugural matchup with Le Moyne while a home contest against Robert Morris on Feb. 22 awaits the Griffs after the contest with the Dolphins.
 
A midweek contest at Big Ten foe Michigan on Feb. 25 brings February to a close while the Griffs' March slate begins with a road contest at Cleveland State on March 1.
 
Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference play gets underway March 8 at home with Sacred Heart, kicking off a three-game homestand that also features a midweek non-conference game versus Little Three foe St. Bonaventure on March 11 and a conference contest against league newcomer Merrimack on March 15.
 
Road games at Quinnipiac on March 22 and Marist on March 26 await the Griffs following the three-game homestand before Canisius closes out the month with a MAAC contest versus Manhattan on March 29.
 
April opens with road games against conference foes Mount St. Mary's on April 5 and upstart program Iona on April 12. A home contest against longtime rival Siena on April 19 serves as the regular-season finale.
 
The 2025 MAAC Men's Lacrosse Championship will once again feature a six-team field. The first round is slated for April 27, with the winners of the two first-round contests joining the top two seeds for championship weekend, hosted by the league's regular-season champion.
 
The semifinals are scheduled for May 1 and the championship game will be held on May 3, with the winner receiving the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
