Edholm's 70 Leads Golf on Day One of Bucknell Invite

Canisius senior Ryan Edholm shot an even-par 70 and sits four strokes behind first-round leader Own Corby from Le Moyne after day one of the 2024 Bucknell Invitational on Sunday at the Bucknell Golf Course in Lewisburg, Pa.

Edholm's 70 has him in a 17-way tie for 17th plaace after the event's first 18 holes, as 33 of the 108 golfers in the field were at-par or better. Canisius sophomore Mikey Takacs shot a two-over 72 on Sunday, while fellow sophomore Jake Dantonio carded a three-over par score of 73.

As a team, Canisius sits in 13th place after the Golden Griffins posted a team score of 290 through the event's first 18 holes. Sunday's score of 290 extended the team's streak of team scores under 300 to 13 straight, which dates back to last season.

The second round of the 2024 Bucknell Invitational will tee off at 9 a.m., on Monday.
