Rowing Cancels Contest Against Cornell Due to Weather

Due to inclement weather in the Western New York and the Finger Lakes regions, Saturday's race against Cornell has been canceled.

"After conversations with the Cornell coach last night and this morning, in addition to weather updates, I felt it was unsafe to travel the team" head coach Kerri Brace said. "The commute involved freezing rain, and a wintry snow mix, in addition to increasing winds throughout the morning."

Canisius' next scheduled race is on April 8 as it heads to Riverdale, N.Y., to race MAAC rowing rivals Manhattan and Sacred Heart.
