• Canisius earned a split of its series against "Battle of the Bridge" rival Niagara at LECOM Harborcenter last weekend.

• In the finale, Niagara scored twice in the opening five minutes of the game to take control on its way to a 5-2 victory. Senior Ryan Miotto notched his eighth goal of the season while junior Randy Hernandez picked up his fifth of the campaign to account for Canisius' two tallies.
