The Canisius women's soccer team continues its road swing Sunday with visit to Central New York to square off against Colgate. Opening kickoff between the Golden Griffins and Raiders is slated for 3 p.m. at Beyer-Small '76 Field in Hamilton, N.Y.

Canisius is back in action after suffering at 1-0 setback at crosstown rival Buffalo on Thursday. Sophomore keeper Jordan Spencer made a season-high eight saves in goal for the Griffs while junior Tiani Fonoti paced the team with three shot attempts, including two tries on target and one off the crossbar.

Sunday's contest is the ninth meeting all-time between the two Empire State foes. The teams have not met on the pitch since the 2011 season, a 3-2 home victory for the Raiders.

Canisius completes its four-game road swing Wednesday when it travels to Little Three rival St. Bonaventure. Kickoff between the Griffs and Bonnies is slated for 7 p.m. at the Marra Athletics Field Complex. The game will air live on ESPN+.
