The Canisius volleyball team wraps up its first weekend of MAAC action when it welcomes Quinnipiac to the Koessler Athletic Center at noon. This will be the 25th meeting between the two sides, with the Golden Griffins holding a 16-8 edge in the series.

Yesterday against Fairfield, the Griffs fell in straight sets in both team's first MAAC match of the season. Sophomore outside hitter Baldwin led Canisius with 15 kills while freshman setter Ella Bourque totaled 29 assists. As a team, the Blue and Gold amassed a hitting percentage of .200 (35-14-105).

The Griffs are back in action Sept. 24, at noon when they travel to Lewiston, N.Y. to take on Battle of the Bridge rival Niagara.
