The Canisius volleyball team heads to the Garden State to face off against MAAC foe Rider for the second time this season. Opening serve is set for 1 p.m. with the match streaming on Broncvision.

The Griffs won the first meeting between the two sides, 3-1, back on Oct. 9 at home. During the match, five different players registered a service ace in the contest with freshman Ella Bourque and senior Elle Shult each nabbed one. Sophomores Taylor Baldwin and Emma Mans tallied two each and senior Ella Loussia established a career high with six against the Broncs.

Entering the weekend, Loussia is only four service aces away from passing Leigh Launhardt for third place in single season service aces with 51. Loussia has 48 so far on the season, with six matches to go before postseason play. The all-time program record for service aces in a single season is held by Loussia's former teammate Hannah Nelson, who had 57 during the 2019 campaign.

The Griffs are back in action on Nov. 6 as they continue their Garden State trip with a match against Saint Peter's. Opening serve is set for 1 p.m. with the match streaming on the Peacocks Digital Network.
