The Canisius women's soccer team closes out its three-game road trip Wednesday as it makes a visit to longtime league foe Siena. Start time for the MAAC matchup between the Griffs and Saints is slated for 4 p.m., from Hickey Field in Loudonville, N.Y.
 
The Griffs head into Wednesday's contest looking to get back into the win column following its second straight scoreless draw Saturday in a 0-0 tie at league newcomer Mount St. Mary's.
 
Canisius held the host Mountaineers to zero shots on goal while firing eight shots on frame, but Mount goalkeeper Drew Camp was able to keep the Griffs off the scoreboard. Sophomore Emma Oliphant registered a team-best three shots on goal during the contest while junior Tiani Fonoti and freshman Lizzy Harkness were also credited with two shots in the game for the Blue and Gold.
 
Wednesday's matchup against the Saints marks the 34th all-time meeting between the two Empire State rivals. Last season, Siena posted a 3-1 victory over Canisius at the Demske Sports Complex during league play.
 
Canisius returns to the friendly confines of the Demske on Saturday to host Saint Peter's in a 1 p.m. MAAC matinee. The contest will serve as the program's Senior Day, with the team honoring its seven senior and graduate student-athletes in a ceremony prior to the start of the contest.
