The Canisius volleyball team welcomes Manhattan to the Koessler Athletic Center for the second meeting between the two sides this season. The match will be streamed on ESPN3 with opening serve set for noon. The Golden Griffins won the first meeting, 3-0, by scores of 25-13, 25-18 and 25-18 on Oct. 2.

In the first match between the two teams, senior outside hitter Ella Loussia paced the Blue and Gold with 15 kills while freshman setter Ella Bourque had 31 assists. Five different players had service aces in the match with Emma Mans, Shannon Kehoe and Loussia each nabbing one, Bourque totaling three, and senior libero Bree Long notching four in the straight set victory.

Kehoe made her collegiate volleyball debut against the Jaspers and on her very first serve, in her very first match, Kehoe notched an ace. She also added an assist and scored a point in the match.

The Griffs are back in action tomorrow at noon when they welcome fellow New York City foe Iona to the Koessler Athletic Center. Opening serve is set for noon with the match streaming on the Golden Griffin Broadcast Network.
