FIVE THINGS TO KNOW
1. Canisius Ends Season Series with Rider Sunday

The Canisius men's basketball team continues its three-game road swing on Sunday when the Golden Griffins take on Rider Sunday afternoon in Lawrenceville, N.J., with tip-off set for 2 p.m. Canisius is coming off a 72-67 loss at Monmouth on Friday, a loss that ended the Griffs' two-game win streak.

2. Series History vs. Rider
Sunday will mark the
55th all-time meeting between these two schools, with Rider holding a 38-16 series lead. Including the Griffs' 70-69 win over the Broncs on Jan. 21 marked the fifth time in the last seven meetings between these two squads where the final score was decided by just one point.

3. Garden State Run
Sunday will mark the end of a stretch where the Griffs played five-straight games against the MAAC's three New Jersey-based schools. On Jan. 18, Canisius played at Saint Peter's before hosting Rider (Jan. 21) and Saint Peter's (Jan. 23) at home. This road trip started with the Blue and Gold closing their season series with Monmouth on Friday.

4. Lots of Close Contests
Canisius' 72-57 loss at Monmouth Friday moved the Griffs to 4-2 this year in games decided by five points or less. Dating back to Jan. 16 at Manhattan, four of Canisius' last five games have been decided by five points or fewer, with Canisius scoring two wins in that span.

5. Fofana Filling It Up
Senior Ahamadou Fofana matched a career-high with 18 points in the game at Monmouth on Friday, with 12 of those points coming after he drained a career-best four 3-pointers. In the team's last five games, Fofana is leading the Blue and Gold with his 12.6 points per game scoring average, and he enters Sunday's game with double-figures in the scoring column in eight of the Griffs' last nine contests.
