1. Canisius Looks to Keep Things Rolling vs. Rider
• The Canisius men's basketball team closes out its weekend homestand on Sunday when the Golden Griffins play host to Rider on Faculty/Staff Day, presented by OWN NY Real Estate. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m. Canisius is coming off a 73-63 win over Siena on Friday, the teams second-straight win after dropping six straight.


2. Shoot to Thrill
•
On Friday, Canisius shot 50.0 percent (28-for-56) from the field in the win over Siena, despite going 4-for-22 from 3-point land. With the win, the Griffs improved to 5-0 on the year when shooting 50 percent or better for the game.


3. That 70s Show
•
With the 73 points scored against Siena, Canisius improved to 51-24 under fourth-year head coach Reggie Witherspoon when scoring 70-or-more points in a game.


4. Johnson Does It All
• In the win over Siena, Canisius senior Malik Johnson was good for a game-high 24 points to go with seven rebounds, six assists adn two steals. Entering Sunday's game, Johnson ranks 10th in the league in scoring, ninth in rebounds per game, first in assists per game and first in the conference in steals per game.


5. Tapping Into the Reserves
• Canisius finished Friday's game with 35 bench points, with the junior trio of Majesty Brandon, Scott Hitchon and Jalanni White accounting for all 35 of those points. This season, Canisius' bench players have scored 25-plus points in a game 11 times.
