Women's Soccer to Hold ID Clinic

The Canisius College women's soccer team will host a one day ID clinic for girls in grades 9-12 on Sunday, June 9, at the Demske Sports Complex in Buffalo, N.Y.

This training camp is designed to identify those players interested in the possibility of playing NCAA Division I soccer at Canisius College. The camp will allow participants to have all technical and tactical aspects of their game evaluated. Players will have an opportunity to see if Canisius is the right program for them. Attendees will interact with current Division I student-athletes and coaches.

All players attending camp will have the chance to showcase their soccer skills in front of Canisius College staff. Other college coaches will be invited to view the ID clinic.

Head Women's Soccer Coach Todd Clark:
"We are really pleased to announce another ID Clinic coming up in June for players that may be interested in Canisius and our program.  ID Clinics over the past few years have really become a great way for coaches to get an even better look at players and we have certainly found some wonderful recruits through this opportunity.  It is also a fantastic way for interested players to not only get a good day or training at the NCAA Division I level but also for them to see the staff, current players and school at a much closer level as they seek out the place they may choose to study and play upon graduation.  It is never too early for them to begin looking at schools at this important time and we have absolutely found some of our current players through ID Clinics that we might never have discovered without this option.  It is also a fantastic way for both staff and recruits to get an even better look at one another as the interaction at an ID Clinic is unlike any other opportunity so we are really excited to see who might join us in June as we build our team for the future here at Canisius."
