Head Coach Scott Hemer's Postgame Comments
"There are a lot of positives to take from the first half, if not for a few offensive rebounds it may have been our best 20 minutes of play this season. We were inconsistent coming out of the break, and that was the dagger we could not come back from."

Game Notes
• Thursday's meeting between the Golden Griffins and Hatters was just the third meeting all-time between the two schools.
• With the loss, Canisius is now 2-1 in the all-time series with Stetson.
• Sanderlin's double-double was the fourth of the Williamstown, N.J., native's career and her first since Jan. 12, 2019 at Saint Peter's (10 points and 12 rebounds).
• Pugh reached double-digits in the scoring column for the fourth time this season and 16th time in her career.
• Patterson-Ricks extended her double-digit point streak to seven games to start the season. The Fayetteville, N.Y., native made a career-high eight at the line.
