Five Things to Know Before Canisius Plays Host to Robert Morris

1. Canisius Returns Home
• After playing five-straight games away from the Koessler Athletic Center, the Golden Griffins return home Wednesday night when the team plays host to Robert Morris in a non-league contest. This will be Canisius' first home game in 18 days.

2. Decembers to Remember
• Since 2012-13, Canisius is 30-12 in the month of December. Last year, the Blue and Gold went 5-3 in the final calendar month of the 2017 year, capped with a home win over Iona. Under head coach Reggie Witherspoon, the Griffs are 11-4 in December, with nine of those victories coming in non-conference games.

3. Charge It!
• Canisius took two offensive charge calls at St. Bonaventure last week, the fourth-straight game where the Blue and Gold drew multiple offensive charges on their opponents. Sophomore Takal Molson took one of those two charges vs. the Bonnies to give him a team-leading five this season. His is also the program's active leader in career charges taken with 11 through his first 40 career games on Main Street.

4. Molson Leads the MAAC
• Canisius sophomore Takal Molson leads Canisius and  the MAAC with his 16.7 points per game scoring average this season. He had 10 points in the loss at St. Bonaventure Nov. 28, to extend his streak of scoring in double-figures to 10-straight games, dating back to the end of last year.

5. Ink Him In
• Junior Malik Johnson will be making his 75th career start on Wednesday when the Griffs host Robert Morris, which is every game for the program since the start of the 2016-17 campaign. Johnson is the program's active leader in career starts and is tied with fellow junior Isaiah Reese as the Griffs' active leader in career games played (74 entering Wednesday's game).
